The
Most Reverend Theodore Chris Casimes is the Archbishop
of the Christian Episcopal Church of the United States,
Bishop Co-adjutor of the Christian Episcopal Church of
Canada, and the Bishop of the Diocese of Seattle.
Archbishop Casimes graduated from Annapolis Naval Academy and served a distinguished career in the United
States Navy, retiring as a Navy Captain. He worked
as a Senior Manager for the Boeing Company for eleven
years. Ted served
as the Administrator of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in
Seattle from 1988 - 1992. He helped found King of
Glory Anglican Parish in Auburn, Washington, under
Bishop Jon Lindenauer, and served as Senior Warden and
Deacon.
Ted
was ordained Priest in 1999 and was consecrated Bishop in
2002. He was named Archbishop to replace A. Donald
Davies in 2004. He served as Rector of
King of Glory Parish until 2005.
Ted
is married to
his wife Jan, and has four children, thirteen
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He and his wife
reside in Bellevue, Washington.
